Dr Ivor Quigley
Chiropractic Care
30 years of experience
Dr. Ivor Quigley obtained his Bachelor of Science at the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic) at RMIT. Dr. Quigley has a wealth of experience guiding individuals in transformative and healing processes through the physical body which can lead to profound breakthroughs in complex cases.
Dr. Quigley assesses the neurological and musculoskeletal systems to determine where there is interference that prevents a fuller clearer expression of a person’s health and vitality. Interference in the nervous system can occur due to a specific event or the build up of emotional, psychological and physical stresses.
The nervous system acts as the body's central communication network, ensuring all parts of the body work together. Dr. Quigley views the nervous system as a key to unlocking potential that is held there. Through a gentle, specific and tailored approach the aim is to enhance neural function, bringing the body into a harmonious and efficient relationship creating the opportunity for trauma recovery, emotional regulation, and physical healing.
By working with the nervous system in this way, we can facilitate natural healing responses in the body which can provide relief and support for a variety of health conditions. Dr. Quigley is a qualified martial arts teacher, which combined with his qualifications and experience working with the neuromuscular system, gives him insight and understanding into supporting athletes in the areas of recovery, resilience, performance, development and longevity.
Dr. Quigley has been entrusted with caring for patients with many conditions and backgrounds for over 30 years, from infants to the elderly. In 2002 he received recognition for his significant and heartfelt contribution to the Lighthouse Foundation working with young people.
